Recent projects in 2025 and 2026 have included Kabalevsky Concerto No.1 in the UK, concerto performances in Slovakia with the Slovak Chamber Orchestra, chamber music performances in Crete and multiple Academy of St. Martin in the Fields (ASMF) tours to the USA, Hong Kong and Europe.

In July 2026, Richard performed Vivaldi's Double Concerto for two cellos with Anastasia Kobekina and the ASMF at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Rheingau festivals in Germany.

The 2026/2027 season will see Richard travelling to China, Hong Kong, the USA and Europe for ASMF orchestral and chamber ensemble tours, chamber music at London's Wigmore Hall, further concerto performances and a number of appearances as guest principal of the orchestra of the Royal Opera House.
