Richard recorded Christopher Gunning's Cello Concerto with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by the composer in an album which also includes his Violin Concerto and Birdflight. Christopher studied with Edmund Rubbra and Richard Rodney Bennett and is most known for his television music to the ITV series Agatha Christie's Poirot.

Richard will once again collaborate with composer David Horne and colleagues at the Sound and Music summer school.
