In Search of Beethoven
Theatrical release: March 30th, 2009 at the Barbican Theatre, London.

Richard is featured playing three of Beethoven's chamber works in Phil Grabsky's second composer documentary, the 'follow up' to the hugely successful In Search of Mozart.

He can be seen and heard playing extracts from the Op.69 and Op.102/1 sonatas for piano and cello, as well as the Op.1/1 piano trio.

The documentary includes contributions and performances from Emanuel Ax, Christoph Berner, Jonathan Biss, Riccardo Chailly, Jonathan Del Mar, Endellion Quartet, Julia Fedoseeva, Alban Gerhardt, Janine Jansen, Sir Roger Norrington, Gianandrea Noseda, Vadim Repin, Alexander Sitkovetsky, Lars Vogt and many, many more...
