Richard's
Debut Disc for the EMI Classics "Debut" Series was recorded
with Austrian pianist Christoph Berner. The disc presents Sonatas by Beethoven
(A major) and Chopin, along with shorter works by Glazunov, Rubinstein, Popper,
and Offenbach.
As
a Bachpreisträger of the 2004 International Johann Sebastian Bach Compeition,
Leipzig, Richard took part in the prize winners concert at the Thomaskirche.
Richard
recorded the track "Aria" in 2003 for this EMI Classics release. The
solo is with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Adiemus Singers, and Terrance
Barber
